Just trying to think as to why, as I have a similar setup with a GE battery (AC coupled) and used ECO yesterday for a bit as you want to do. The charge speed was 1.4kwh (any extra above this is solar, so the rate went up to ~2kwh at one point, but only about 700W from my battery), but it''s enough that I''m not drawing from the grid.

Our battery today (so-far) has had a throughput of 16.7kWh and is at 85% charge, I leave it on dynamic mode so it charges and discharges as surplus and loads come and go, our grid usage today has been 0.05kWh so near zero, but we have consumed 17kWh of the solar, soon the sun will go down and once again there will be nothing left for the Eddi!

I have a DC coupled battery with a grid CT clamp and a solar CT clamp. If I select Generation Only for the solar CT clamp I get readings on the Zappi display and on the App (v 1.4.0).
